Analyse de remédiations proposées par des enseignants ciblant des déficits d'auto-régulation de jeunes élèves dans une application d'apprentissage de la lecture

Abstract : Self-regulated learning has a significant impact on academic performance. We surveyed 298 teachers whose students were working with a web-based reading learning application to find out how they would like to be informed of their students’ potential self-regulation deficits and how they would address them, in order to co-design these reme- diations with them. The results show a strong interest from teachers to (1) track students’ self-regulation deficits through the application’s dash- board, and (2) provide automated assistance through encouragement and formative feedback, as well as exercises tailored to their deficits.
